Why compete?

Competing is fun way for students to meet other health-enthusiastic students across the state, compete against hundreds of high school students in the event of your choice and potentially even win scholarship money! Plus, if you place in the top 3 in your event, you qualify to compete at the ILC (International Leadership Conference) against students from all over the world. Competing truly is a fun, great thing to do and the options truly are endless!

What types of events can I compete in?

The different categories of events you can compete in are Health Science Events, Health Professions Events, Emergency Preparedness Skills, Leadership Events, Teamwork Events (which typically require 2-4 people), and Recognition Events (which can be competed alongside another event in a category previously mentioned).
